Unless the urge to post overwhelms, I’m taking a break until after the New Year. May your days be merry, your nests bright, and your stomachs full with good food.  Read on for a look at our house this time of year.

This was before the massive snowfall. We've since taken down the flag.

Mercury glass accents (from Ballard Designs, Marshalls and eBay) and magnolia leaf garland on the mantle.

Christmas Eve table: hammered sterling poached from my sister, blue china poached from another indulgent sister, linens from LinenMe, homemade moss balls (crazy easy).
